Studioloop uses Stripe Connect. Payments go directly from the client to your Stripe account. We never hold your funds.

Require full prepayment or card-on-file for cancellation fees. Supports cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and pay-later options like Klarna where available.

In-person POS terminal

Connect a Stripe Terminal card reader for in-person checkout. Tap, chip, Apple Pay, and Google Pay all work. Receipts sent automatically.

Connect your Stripe account

Link your existing Stripe account or create one during setup. The connection takes about two minutes and requires your bank details.

Configure payment settings per location

Set tax rates, tip options, and payment requirements (prepay vs. card on file) for each location independently.

Accept payments online and in-person

Widget and app bookings collect payment automatically. For in-person, use the POS checkout flow with your connected terminal reader.

Payouts arrive in your bank account

Stripe deposits your earnings on their standard payout schedule (typically 2-3 business days). View all transactions in the reports section.

Common questions about payments & pos

Does Studioloop take a percentage of my revenue?

No. Studioloop charges a flat monthly subscription. Stripe charges standard processing fees (2.9% + 30¢ for most cards). We take nothing on top.

Can I use my existing Stripe account?

Yes. Connect your existing Stripe account during setup. You don't need to create a new one.

What terminal hardware is supported?

Studioloop supports Stripe's BBPOS WisePOS E and other Stripe Terminal readers. You can order them directly from the console.

Can I issue partial refunds?

Yes. Process full or partial refunds from the console at any time. Refunds appear in the transaction log with the reason recorded.

How do cancellation fees work?

When a client books, you can require they save a card on file. If they cancel within your policy window, the configured fee is charged automatically.
