Reviews & Moderation
Collect client ratings, moderate them, and reply before they go public
Overview
Reviews let clients rate their visits from 1 to 5 stars with an optional comment. You see every review under Clients > Reviews, where you can read, filter, moderate, and reply.
Where Ratings Come From
A review records its source, so you know how it was submitted:
- Post-booking - the client is prompted to rate after an appointment
- Widget - submitted through the booking widget
- Manual - added on the client's behalf
- Google - imported as a Google review
Clients can only review their own bookings, and a given booking can be reviewed once.
Moderation Workflow
Every new review starts as pending and is hidden from the public until you act on it. From the reviews list you can set each one to:
- Approved - the review is published. Approving a review makes it public by default.
- Rejected - the review stays private and is not published
- Flagged - the review is marked for follow-up and stays private
Only approved, public reviews appear on your public booking page, newest first.
Replying to Reviews
You can post an owner reply to any review (up to 2000 characters). When the review is public, your reply is shown alongside it, so you can thank happy clients or respond to feedback.
Things to Know
- Review creation is rate limited to reduce spam (up to 5 per hour per client)
- The reviews list shows a rating average and supports filtering by status
- Only owners, admins, and managers can moderate or reply
